Journal Article 2018 04 20 The widespread expansion of academic networks and the unprecedented diversity of educational disciplines and programs in much of today's world have raised many questions about the nature of higher education, its role in human society, and its relation with other civic and economic organizations. The author of the book, “<em>University: End of the Game</em>”, has tried to address these questions limiting his scope to the province of Quebec in Canada, without considering this province an isolated case in the dominant global economic system. Referring to the changes brought about by the “Quiet Revolution” of the 1960s in the province of Quebec, he has criticized the major theories in this field. گسترش چشم­گیر شبکه‌های دانشگاهی و تنوع بی‌سابقۀ رشته‌های آموزشی در بخش بزرگی از جهان امروزی پرسش‌های بسیاری را دربارۀ ماهیت آموزش عالی، نقش آن در جامعۀ انسانی و پیوند آن با دیگر سازمان­‌های مدنی و اقتصادی برانگیخته است. نویسندۀ کتاب <em>دانشگاه: پایان بازی</em> در اثرش تلاش کرده است به این پرسش­‌ها در محدودۀ استان کبک کانادا بپردازد، بدون آن­که این استان را تافتۀ جدا بافته‌ای از نظام اقتصاد مسلط جهانی به شمار بیاورد. وی با اشاره به دگرگونی‌های ناشی از «انقلاب آرام» سال­های ١٩۶٠ استان کبک، به نقد نظریه‌های مطرح این حوزه پرداخته است. http://brjofls.ihcs.ac.ir/article_3430_ca5c569dfe2926a45c4c3fe0fe51002d.pdf
