Abstract
Teaching of translation theories in Iran, despite all the valuable efforts carried out in this field, continues to have many shortages. The theoretical part of translation teaching books usually dictate fixed rules for translating texts. This article tries to study these models from the point of view of descriptive studies and offer an alternative based on André Lefevere's theory.

A book review is more than a book report or summary of a book's contents. A review is a critical essay evaluating the merits of an academic work. Its purpose is not to prove that you read the book—which is understood as a given—but to show that you can think critically about what you've read., 2019; 2(1): 65-80.
